You have probably heard that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but if you’re like me it’s often the most skipped. So this recipe is not only fast (can be made in less than a minute) but will give you a great start to the day. It uses frozen fruit straight from the freezer which makes it so refreshing in the morning. You don’t have to use a smoothie maker, (which have become all the rage in the past year), as a hand blender will do but it might just take longer.

Ingredients

250ml cranberry juice
3 tbsp of natural yoghurt
100g frozen summer berries
1/2 tsp of ground cinnamon

Method

Add all the ingredients to the smoothie maker/blender and wizz until smooth. Halfway through blending stop to let the frozen fruit sink to the bottom, this way all of the frozen fruit will get blended. Serve and add a little sprinkle of more cinnamon to the top. It’s that simple but will set you up until lunchtime.
